ֱ’s six faculties, eight globally recognised research institutes and more than 100 research centres attract an interdisciplinary community of 1500 scientists, social scientists and engineers who champion research excellence and continue ֱ’s tradition of research leadership. The Australian Research Council (ARC) has awarded ֱ more ARC Australian Laureate Fellowships and more ARC Centres of Excellence than any other university in the country – with 27 Laureates and 11 ARC Centres headquartered at ֱ.

Leading research and development organisation Boeing Research and Technology Australia has moved its Brisbane-based team into a centre at ֱ's St Lucia campus.
ֱ's Business School has partnered with professional services firm KPMG Australia to establish a new Chair in Organisational Trust. KPMG are seeking to enhance how companies build and sustain trust.
Siemens offers a suite of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, which digitally tracks a product’s life through its: design inception, manufacture, use, maintenance, and disposal.
